ToyQube is bringing the fan-favorite Transponder Snail from Netflix’s live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece to life. The new resin coin bank features Vice Admiral Garp’s Transponder Snail (Den Den Mushi) that he uses to place calls. Outfitted with mouthpieces, these telepathic snails are essentially living, breathing, slimy One Piece telephones. While physically speaking the conversation, each snail takes on the appearance and facial expressions of its user — from casual chit chat to screaming. As seen in the show, the coin bank recreates the details of Garp’s snail including the Navy-inspired white + blue stripes shell and the gray moustache and beard.
The Transponder Snail coin bank resin (8″ L x 3.5″ W x 5.5″ H) is available for pre-order from Netflix for $80 and is slated to ship in November 2023.
