The eponymous undead guardian spirit from CROM’s BirdKing graphic novels (published by Dark Horse) returns with a new vinyl art toy from Mighty Jaxx. The Dark Wraith edition features a stark, striking black + gold edition that follows the OG (gray) edition.
The tale of arcane blacksmith apprentice Bianca and the BirdKing flows out of the pages of the illustrated saga—drawn by CROM and penned by Daniel Freedman—and onto collectors’ shelves. Fierce, enigmatic and impervious to arrows, the BirdKing readies for battle in his imposing black-with-gold-accented armor and an impossibly large broadsword. The swirl of blue flame and the birds gathered around him, are telling signs of his supernatural power.
An edition of 300, the BirdKing – Dark Wraith Ed. vinyl art toy (10″) is available for pre-order from Mighty Jaxx for $169 and is slated to ship in February 2024.
