ISH is set to release a special Scott Pilgrim x Astro Boy variant figure ($50) for San Diego Comic-Con. The new edition is inspired by the graphic novels which showed Scott Pilgrim rocking a pink Astro Boy tee. Created in collaboration with Tezuka Productions, Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O’Malley, and Bottleneck Gallery, the figure has 5 points of articulation, comes with a guitar accessory and three sets of interchangeable hands.
In other Astro Boy news, ISH will also be releasing Astro Boy prints from Jason Edmiston. Part of Edmiston’s Eyes Without A Face series, available in color (ed. of 175, $30) and black/white (ed. of 75, $35) versions the print features the mighty atom up close in a dissected style design.
ISH will be releasing the Scott Pilgrim x Astro Boy figure and the Edmiston Astro Boy prints at the Creature Bazaar / DKE Toys SDCC booth [#2643].
