UK artist brings Rob Bowyer his vision of an undead swordsman to life with the Shadowed Samurai polystone art toy sculpture from Mighty Jaxx. The skeletal warrior has a haunting, realistic presence with rugged skull and intricately-sculpted rib cage that emphasize his barely-there existence. The mono treatment is a strong translation of Bowyer’s 2D work with deep shadows bringing out the details in the samurai’s flowing robe. The new figure follows Bowyer’s sold-out Samurai (Hell Chamber) incense chamber, also from Mighty Jaxx.
An edition of 300, the Shadowed Samurai polystone art toy sculpture (10″) will be available for pre-order on Saturday (6.17) at 6 AM PDT from Mighty Jaxx for $199.
