So now that The Super Mario Bros. Movie has dropped, wouldn’t it be nice to have a followup to the Super TEQ Bros figures? Why yes, it would! QUICCS x Martian Toys have released the new Wasteland Super TEQ Bros vinyl art toys — one of each plumber.
The new figures feature futuristic, battle-damaged versions of the original Mario-inspired TEQ63 drops. Each features metallic helmets and hoodies, showing plenty of wear and tear. The ‘weathering’ effects seem spot on including the metal scratches.
Editions of 399, the Wasteland Super TEQ Bros vinyl art toys (6″) are available from Martian Toys and IAmRetro for $95 or $180 for the set. As with other TEQ63 releases, the Wasteland figures come with two sets of arms (regular + hoodie pocket).
