The last few months have been amazing for TMNT art toy collectors. Just in the past month or so, we’ve seen several high profile, officially-licensed takes on the ‘heroes in a half-shell’ from artists including Jei Tseng and Chino Lam. Now comes the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles project from none other than Fools Paradise x ZCWO.
As is their unspoken mantra, Fools Paradise has gone big with their turtles. Raphael, Michelangelo, Donatello and Leonardo each stand nearly 12″ tall. Given their bulky proportions, each is guaranteed to to turn heads and eat up display case space. While the designs are nearly identical beyond each character’s signature color and weapon loadout, they do feature different facial expressions. Only Raphael and Michelangelo are actually holding their weapons. Leonardo’s double sais and Donatello’s bo staff are stowed away on their shells. This is important as these appear to be static sculpts without articulation and as such the weapons are sculpted in-place.
The TMNT x Fools Paradise vinyl art toys (11.81″) are available for pre-order from Fools Paradise for $175 each ($225 w/global shipping) or $630 ($758 w/global shipping) and are slated to ship in Q2 2023.
