Taiwanese artist Jei Tseng brings his distinct 1/6 street style concept to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with an exciting new collaboration with HK-based BigBoysToys. The project kicks off with Michelangelo and Leonardo, each featuring turtle heads (masks) and detailed clothing, gear and weapons that collectors have come to expect from Tseng. Drawing from the artists Street Masks concept, each figure celebrates the urban lifestyle. Both highly-articulated figures come with color-matched basketballs and Michelangelo also includes a skateboard. The figures transition from heroes in a half shell to sports-loving youth with the removal of the turtle head (complete with windblown masks).
The TMNT Leonardo & Michelangelo 1/6 scale art toys (11.81″) are available for pre-order from Jei Tseng Studio and BigBoysToys for $330 each or $650 for both with an expected shipping time of Q4 2023 (likely August). Collectors who buy all four figures—Raphael and Donatello are coming up—will also receive a bonus neon green boombox.
