France-based illustrator (and toy designer) Wojtek Studio has captured the essence of taking photos with his The Photographer resin art toy. Every once in a while, there’s a temptation to write ‘cool’, post the photos and the release details. This is one of those times.
Seriously though, Wojtek Nowak’s self-produced, hand-painted piece nails the physicality and joy of being a photographer. The exaggerated proportions accentuate the awkward body positions often need to get ‘the shot’. The character’s long limbs, arms, and oversized hand ring true to someone who sometimes pretends to be a photographer. As does the three extra cameras slung over the back. Oh, did we mention the bright, vibrant colors?
