Filipino artist DadiPANDA is about to unleash his PANdeCOCO resin art toy. Inspired by his love of pandas, anime, and motorcycling, this panda seems ready for any and all challengers. A clever word play of sorts, the name plays off the pronunciation of the popular Filipino Pan De Coco (coconut bread) dessert.
Modelled after modern motorcycle suits and helmets, PANdeCOCO’s suit/armor has a futuristic yet imposing feel. Never backing down, this panda can definitely push back. So much so, that the figure ships with two alternative arms featuring the bear giving the ‘bird’. As you can see in the photos, the concept works really well and is guaranteed to draw plenty of laughs.
An edition of 25, the PANdeCOCO resin art toy (7.48″) is available for pre-order from DadiPANDA for Php 10,500 ($190). The figure is being produced in the Philippines and will ship in April 2023.
