Big Squaro by Bandai x Underverse

Previous Next

Ashley Wood artfully and expertly blends Mobile Suit Gundam’s Haro robot—his favorite design from the epic anime— and his own WWR Square robot with the new Big Squaro art toy, part of the Bandai x Underverse collaboration. The seamless design incorporates the Square’s duck mouth face and legs into the Haro form factor with Wood’s Jet Sitter Gal art work. The portrait of the high-flying female fills the left-side of the piece, spanning the the top hatch.

As you might hope, the transformation from ball (Haro) to walking Square modes is seamless and self-contained in this new larger format (3.9″ vs 3.14″) which follows the previous mini releases. The legs can be deployed by opening Squaro’s lower hatches without attaching or detaching any parts. The dynamic design features a total of 10 points of articulation. More? This hybrid bot is ready for the dark with LED-illuminated eyes. The included circular base is perfect for display in Haro mode.

The Big Squaro vinyl + abs art toy (3.94″ in ball form) is available for pre-order from Underverse for $110 (shipping included) and is slated to ship in Q3 2023.
