While Andrew Bell usually releases a special Lunar New Year Android mini art toy, he’s turned in an elevated offering this year with the Year of the Rabbit Android Collectible Set. This 4-piece boxed set starts with two rabbit androids—one dressed up in a traditional red+ gold outfit and the other a ‘jade’ edition. The full-color version comes with a red lantern accessory and green ribbon bow while the Jade rabbit has a golden coin with red ribbon around its neck. In addition to the rabbit Android figures, the set also includes two ingot coin banks (Yuan Bao): 财富 “Wealth” and 健康 “Health” (Jade). The ingot banks has removable Android heads. Finally, the set’s festive packaging features individual boxes with metallic gold details for each figure and a special Year of the Rabbit sleeve to bring all the good fortune together.
The Year of the Rabbit Android Collectible Set proved so popular that the first wave sold out on the first day. The second wave is now available for preorder from Andrew Bell for $48 and is slated to ship sometime in March.
