Theodoru continues his Skulltoons line of stylized iconic cartoon characters with the new Springfield Skulltoons Z vinyl art toy series from Streams. This zombified trip to Springfield starts off with Bartenstein Z and Springfield Pops Z, arguably its two most popular citizens. Bart-enstein is ready to shred on his skateboard while Pops is ready for his favorite snack, a pink frosted donut.
Each Springfield Skulltoons Z figure features Theodoru’s stylized skull-face design with prominent cheek bones. Plus, as a result of the dreaded zombie virus, each character’s yellow skin is disintegrating right before our eyes into drippy goo. The new Springfield Series follows Theodoru’s previous Mickey Mouse and Pinocchio-inspired figures.
Editions of 500, the Springfield Skulltoons Z Bartenstein Z (10.63″, $215) and Springfield Pops Z (15.35″, $280) vinyl art toys are available for preorder from Streams and are expected to ship in Q4 2023.
