The Mousezilla Matte Black (ed:and Gold) edition features the humble mouse kaiju cast in matte black vinyl with gold spray. A relative rarity, the distinctive ‘flat’ finish of matte vinyl has an understated subletely compared to the much more common, standard high gloss pieces. To showcase the difference in finishes, BlackBook Toy has shared side-by-side photos comparing the glossy version (sold out) with this new matte edition. While matte toys are subject to scuffing—as BlackBook toy mentions—we’re of the belief that the vibe is worth the extra care required.
