Hong Kong-based AllRightsReserved begins its 20th Anniversary celebration with a collection of limited-edition KAWS bronze sculptures, 12 in all. This high-profile release features designs drawn from the artist’s ongoing body of work featuring his signature Companion and BFF character. Several of the pieces are based on his sculptures for the KAWS: Holiday global events produced with AllRightsReserved.
Ranging from a character height of 3.74″ to 6.89″, the twelve new bronze designs in black include Alone Time, At This Time, BFF, Clean Slate, Good Morning, Here Today, Passing Through, Seeing, Shelter, Space, Still Moment, and Watching. The pieces are the latest examples of KAWS’ exploration of human emotion and relationships with one another through his characters.
Editions of 250 (w/50 APs), each sculpture is engraved with KAWS’ signature and the piece’s serial number. The sculptures will come in a wood box with a tap-to-own physical COA card which will allow collectors to use an app to receive digital proof of ownership (NFT) by tapping a phone to the card. Due to the high demand, the bronze sculptures are being offered via ‘raffle’ (lottery) from the DDT Store site through Monday (12.19) @ 2 AM PST for HK$21,980 each (~$2800). Full Sets will also be available for HK$263,760 (~$33,603). Lottery preference will be given to those looking to purchase full sets.
