Coarse continues to push the boundaries of vinyl art toys with its new Years Adrift – Catch Me When I Fall innovative vinyl art toy mobile. A striking exploration of a couple finally falling apart from each other, the 40″ mobile features six figures in freefall — three women and three men.
The second release in the Years Adrift collection—following Years Adrift – Loser—the new work focuses on our changing relationships with one another within the dynamic form of a traditional mobile. The sturdy powder-coated metal support arches allow the pieces to move about and around each other. As is their practice, Coarse is releasing Catch Me When I Fall in two colorways including the muted colors of Memento and their classic Pain monochromatic treatment with bloody accents.
The Years Adrift – Catch Me When I Fall vinyl art toy mobile (40x40x18″) will be available in both the Memento (250 pieces) and Pain (150 pieces) editions on Thursday (11.10) at 7:59 AM PST from Coarse for $680. The two editions are also available as a bundle set ($1198).
