Yoskay Yamamoto has just released the newest edition of his Dongo sofubi art toy in collaboration Giant Robot. The Lavender Grey edition was released on Saturday evening (11.12) to coincide with his Return to Sender solo at GR2. The new colorway of the moon-head figure—inspired by the art of René Magritte, specifically his iconic Son of Man featuring a man in a suit with bowler hat and a green apple in mouth—blends a touch of lavender with gray for a subtle, bespoke hue. The toy is named after Magritte’s Studio Dongo.
The Dongo – Lavender Gray sofubi art toy (4.5″) is available from Giant Robot for $50.
