With Toy At UK Leeds 2022 less than a week away, here’s a look at one of the eagerly anticipated releases that features a UK art toy pioneer as an art toy himself. Rocking a comfy orange hoodie, cap, gray frumpy sweats, and red socks Pete Fowler – Work From Home Unit 3D-printed resin action figure w/carded back from Delicious Again Peter is a product of the unprecedented past few years, both inspiration and production wise. The fun toy design is bound to hold special meaning for old school collectors of Fowler’s classic vinyl art toys including the Monsterism series.
The first edition of the Pete Fowler – Work From Home Unit resin art toy (~4″) will debut at the Toy Art UK Leeds 2002 convention (9.24, tickets) with 15 pieces available from Pete Fowler’s table and 15 from Toy Art UK’s table for £100 (~$119). Toy Art UK plans to release a second batch online sometime after the show, perhaps as few as 20 additional pieces (50 total).
