ChrisRWK continues his celebration of the love of comic book collecting with the new My Uncle’s Favorite – 1989 vinyl art toy from Strangecat Toys. Inspired by his uncle’s favorite superhero, the 1989 edition features the caped crusader in the striking back and yellow suit. The lighthearted take the superhero includes a black cat and a little bird, a robin, of course. 1989 follows the previously released 1966 edition in the vintage blue and gray.
An edition of 100, the My Uncle’s Favorite – 1989 vinyl art toy (8″) will be available on Saturday (9.17) at 9 AM PDT from Strangecat Toys’ online store and their physical location in Tampa, Florida. Pricing has not been announced. For reference, the OG 1966 edition retailed for $100.
