Mr Clement’s Breathe For All show opens on Saturday (9.3, 3-7 PM PDT) at Woot Bear in San Francisco. The name and concept of the show reflects that now is finally the time to exhale, breathe again, and relax a bit after the past two incredibly stressful and trying times.
The show explores the theme through several new editioned product including the Breathe For All ceramic incense burners ((Editions of 80, 7.09″, $110). The piece sees Mr Clement’s signature Lapin exhaling with a Ji ja bird peeking out over its friend’s leg. The relaxing design will be available in seven colors (Yellow, Green, Blue, Pink, Orange, Coral and Purple). As shown in the pictures, the incense doubles as the Lapin’s breath, flowing out of the mouth. The Lapin lifts up to load the burner with an incense cone.
Mr Clement has also created six new vertical diptych style prints (available in three sizes: A1/$250, A2/$220 & A3/$180) featuring two related images. The pieces are inspired by the pandemic to varying degrees from rapid tests to a broader focus on love lost in a field of flowers.
