Aplasticplant brings a curated vision of hip hop culture to Instagram with a daily mix of content selected by its anonymous owner. Grown and nurtured with plant-inspired branding, the Instagram community/moodboard has amassed 300K+ followers and become a go-to source for fans. Expanding beyond lifestyle apparel, the brand has collaborated with YARMS x Mighty Jaxx on the first-ever aplasticplant vinyl art toy.
The figure features a figure in an aplasticplant hoodie holding a growing plant. aplasticplant’s stylized mask stands in for the face of the anonymous person behind the account. The rear of the hoodie features a plant growing over nine stages while the front bears the account’s mantra, ‘The day you plant the seed, is not the day you eat the fruit.’ The design of the figure is patterned after YARMS founder Danil Yad’s signature design which debuted with his Authors series.
