Illustrator Tony Bui has a couple of fun things in store for San Diego Comic-Con 2022 (7.20 – 7.23) at his booth [#2746]. First up is his new Rexy Orange resin art toy. Yes, the cute TRex returns in a new orange jam riding a pink skateboard. Part of Bui’s Extinction Friends series, the new orange colorway follows the OG red version released at DesignerCon 2021. Forty of the Rexy Orange figures will be available at SDCC, ten per day. Another twenty will be available online after the event.
In addition to the new Rexy, Bui will also be releasing a fun-filled screen print (9×12″) inspired by his home office during the pandemic. The image celebrates his creative work, passions and collections with an emphasis on sci-fi, comics and yes, dinosaurs.
