Kidrobot has announced its six 2022 Convention Exclusives that will be available both at their SDCC 2022 booth (#2846, 7.20 – 7.24) and as online pre-orders for those that won’t be able to attend the premier convention. The drops include four exclusive edition vinyl art toys and two special lanyard and pin sets.
Starting on the vinyl side of things, there are a pair of Andy Warhol drops including the Andy Warhol Fright Wig Self Portrait 8″ Masterpiece Dunny – Rainbow Edition (200 pieces, $175) and Andy Warhol The Bust – Lavender Edition (12″, 300 numbered pieces, $175). These flamboyant colorways celebrate the iconic father of Pop Art.
For Bulletpunk fans, Kidrobot will also release the Blueprint TEQ63 vinyl art toy (6″, 300 pieces, $110) from Sergio Mancini x QUICCS x Martian Toys. The new deconstructed edition brings the creative design of the previously released Project MegaTEQ 12″ figures to the regular 6″ TEQ63.
For fans of cute monsters, there’s the Hello Kitty Kaiju Cosplay – Unicorn Edition (8″, 400 pieces, $110). Unicorn features a magical, silver edition of the fun design that we’ll call kitty-zilla complete with mini-building accessories to tower over and a bus in-hand filled with Hello Kitty’s friends.
Embracing convention culture, Kidrobot will also release the Hello Kitty Lanyard Pin Set and the Godzilla x Nissin Cup Noodle Lanyard sets. Editions of 500, the sets feature a colorful themed-lanyard and four enamel pins. The lanyard and pin sets will be available for $30 each.
For those that can’t make SDCC (or want to secure the drops ahead of time), Kidrobot is offering a final pre-order opportunity on Saturday (7.9) at 9 AM PDT from Kidrobot.com. Pre-orders will ship after SDCC.
