Jerome Lu’s is returning with Hyperactive Monkey to San Diego for SDCC 2022 (7.20 -7.24). For the first full, in-person SDCC in three years, Lu’s Hyperactive Monkey has a full slate of exclusive drops and debuts including multiple monkey releases from Jerome Lu, several DJ Lance Rock lifestyle releases, and a new colorway of the Hypebao figure with Kevin Cao.
Jerome Lu will release several new figures for SDCC including the Hyperactive Monkey Minifigure Sofubi sets in the new Orange Cream and Purple Dream colorways. Created in collaboration sculptor Macsorro, the sets feature four monkey characters. Lu will also release the new Jade colorway of his Meditating Monkey Ninja resin art toy (3″). In addition to the toys, the new The Way of the Hyperactive Monkey print features a visual guide to Kung Fu starring Lu’s monk character.
Hyperactive Monkey will also feature several DJ Lance Rock releases including a new two pin set, two new patches and two orange bucket hats featuring the new patch designs. The Yo Gabba Gabba! star will also be making appearances at the booth.
Hyperactive Monkey is also the spot for the new Hypebao Union edition vinyl art toy designed by Jerome Lu for Kevin Cao. The latest release of the Shanghai style panfried dumpling character rocks a teal ‘Panfried’ box hoodie and blue, red and white sneakers.
