Korean artist Rato Kim continues to come up with fun riffs on her signature Boxcat design. Her newest creation, the Game Boy Boxcat soft vinyl art toy, riffs off the classic OG gaming handheld. The design cat-ifys the retro console with the cute box cat ears, expressive face and a clever tail/cable combo.
Recently released directly by the artist, the Game Boy Boxcat Red (Smile) edition features a cheerful, smiley face on the yellow ‘screen’ and a ‘smile’ cartridge around the back. Oh, black/red kicks for a bit of street flair. The Red edition is now available stateside from Strangecat Toys (6.1″, $95).
