Pop Surrealist painter Mark Ryden continues his collaboration with Artoyz’s new Golem imprint with the upcoming Baby Bos vinyl art toys. The new vinyls are based on Ryden’s larger porcelain sculptures offered at his Anima Animals exhibition in Shanghai (2021).
Standing 6” tall—one third the size of the porcelain pieces—Baby Bos is a curious, furry creature with a seemingly kind face. In fact, Bos’s face is very similar to that of Ryden’s Yuki the Young Yak which was previously released as an art toy plush, also from Golem. Baby Bos will debut in the Blush edition which will be followed by the Bistre and Buff editions—matching the three porcelain editions. The figure includes a fancy box with canvas cover (see video below)
An edition of 500, the Baby Bos Blush vinyl art toy (6”) will be available on Friday (6.24) at 9 AM PDT from Artoyz to non-EU collectors for €208.33 (~$220) for and to EU collectors for €250 (~$263). The figure is in stock and ready to ship.
