As revealed by ComplexLand, Superplastic is set to debut its new Shu Dog vinyl art toy at the upcoming ComplexLand virtual event (5.25 – 5.27). As the fun name suggests, Shu Dog is all about the shoes, featuring a sneakerhead (literally) on the brand’s existing Janky platform body.
As seen in the teasers, the sneaker sculpt features inset eyes in the ‘cement’-style upper and a wide mouth in the front outsole. Other visible details include venting, tread (back shot) and ‘Shu’ branding on the rear outsole. As far as sizing, this one stands 7.5″ tall, putting it in the 8″ SuperJanky class.
The Shu Dog ‘Cement’ Edition vinyl art toy is slated to drop exclusively from Superplastic’s ‘booth’ at the ComplexLand virtual event (5.25 – 5.27). More info as it becomes available. Pricing has not been announced.
I was lucky enough to score one and cant wait to get into my greasy really tiny hands and feet , has to do with my parents being close relatives, my whatchamacallit is very big ! SHUDOG rocks!
