LTNC Studio’s Libertydead Tokyo edition vinyl art toy revives one of its earliest figures as part of the new Human Planet Cities Tour. The Tokyo edition features a monochromatic black, white and gray edition of a skull-faced lady liberty with a removable gold smiley-face bomb. It also features a translucent smoke base filled with white and black balls. Based on the promo photos, there might be just enough room to fit the smiley bomb into the base.
We’re not quite sure how this design represents Tokyo other than the fact that the colors resemble Tokyo’s skyscrapers, but that applies to most major cities. It works well as a mono edition and the translucent base filled with balls is certainly intriguing and a bit mysterious. While previous Libertydead releases were editions of 500, LTNC mentions that this one was produced in a ‘very small quantity’.
