After an earlier teaser, Buff Monster has announced and revealed his new Mister Melty 10″ vinyl art toy. Two years in the making, the new figure marks severals firsts for the artist including first rotocast vinyl version of his signature ice cream character and first self-produced rotocast vinyl figure.
The new Mister Melty vinyl debuts in Pink, Buff Monster’s signature color. Unlike the the previous resin and sofubi versions, the new vinyl toy features an articulated head, hands and arms for playability and posability. The behind-the-scenes work to bring this figure to life include an almost completely new sculpt compared to the previous versions and custom hand-painted color swatches to ensure just the right shades of Buff Monster Pink.
The Mister Melty Pink vinyl art toy (10″) will be released for NTWRK’s Unboxed art toy festival on Tuesday (4.26) at 1 PM PDT via the NTWRK app for $180. As the toys are still on the water, the drop is a preorder with an expected shipping date of sometime in June 2022.
