KAWS is set to release his new Kachamukku vinyl art toys inspired by the popular Japanese children’s TV characters. Gachapin, a green dinosaur kid, and Muku, a red yeti kid, debuted back in 1973 as part of the long-running Hirake! Ponkikki children’s TV program. The friendly duo continues to entertain with their Gachamuku show and have their own successful Youtube channel as well.
The half & half Kachamukku design features Muuku on the left and Gachapin on the right in KAWS’ signature style with crossbones and X eyes. The art toys will be available in both an OG Red/Green edition as well as a Black edition.
The Kachamukku vinyl art toys will be available on Tuesday (4.5) at 9 AM PDT from KAWSONE. Pricing has not been announced.
