Nychos has just released a limited stock of his Dissection of a Wolf 3D-printed polyamide sculpture produced and released by Sculpturest last summer. A striking complement to the artist’s paintings and murals featuring layered anatomical compositions, the sculpture transcends the typical half/half 2.5D ‘dissected’ art toy treatment.
Instead of the typical cutaway, Wolf offers a more immersive, dramatic experience. Rather than splitting the view in half, the sculpture pulls apart the animal, with the face coming forward off the skull, to offer an outside in concept that reveals the wolf’s full skeleton.
