Los Angeles-based Butch Locsin (‘Skeleton of Color’) found his unique brand of artistry by combining his hand-painted calavera masks drawn from Dia de Los Muertos celebrations, flamboyant outfits, and colored smoke grenades into striking performances. Capturing the spirit of his performance art, Locsin has collaborated with Mighty Jaxx on the Smoke Calavera porcelain incense chamber.
The Smoke Calvera design flows out of Locsin’s dynamic art with a green calavera, vibrant floral arrangement and trails of orange smoke flowing out of the smoke grenade held between the skull’s teeth. The porcelain incense burner features carefully placed openings to ensure the smoke billows out of the calavera as in Locsin’s performances.
The Smoke Calavera porcelain incense chamber (7″ H) will be available for preorder on Saturday (3.26) at 6 AM PDT from Mighty Jaxx for $249.
