NY-based Sad Salesman (Eric Althin) has created a charming, quirky collection of resin art toys for his upcoming Nature Calls solo show opening at Clutter Gallery (3.19). Whether you prefer sea creatures, slugs, bees, or mystical beasts, this is your show. So far, Sad Salesman has revealed the adorable Clamboi (edition), his Nudibranch slugs, a cute bumble bee and the showcase piece Wanderlust. Shown here in an unpainted form, Wanderlust features a trio of friends—a sasquatch, merman, and curious moose— wandering around on each other’s shoulders. While Clamboi is definitely an edition, it’s not clear which of the others might also be editions rather than one-offs.
