Taiwanese graffiti artist BOUNCE brings his street style to Go Nagai’s iconic Mazinger Z with a new vinyl toy created in collaboration with Hobby Toy and Nagai’s Dynamic Planning. For his take on the giant robot, BOUNCE has incorporated his signature bunny character as the pilot in a removable command ship that sits at the top of Mazinger Z’s helmet and more subtly with the green eyes seen just below the robot’s red heat sinks. He’s also turned the iconic robot into a music machine by adding speakers—a frequent element of his designs—into the sculpt at the shoulders and arms.
The Bounce x Mazinger Z vinyl art toy (12.6″) will be available for preorder from Hobby Toy for $276.86 beginning on Friday (4.1) at 4 AM PDT until Monday (4.4) at 4 AM PDT.
