Vinyl Tokyo has just released Japanese artist Keeenue’s Be As One 2nd Edition vinyl art toy. Known for her slender, long-limbed characters with stylized faces, Keeenue’s first vinyl art toy embodies the involved and oftentimes awkward process a couple goes through as they grow and fit their routines and personalities around each other. The light-hearted, whimsical piece resonates by exposing the chaos of falling in love.
This second colorway features lavender characters with brightly colored hair and black vs. yellow pants. It follows the OG edition—featuring off-white characters with blue vs. orange pants— which debuted at Keeenue’s Cocoon Play exhibition at Vinyl Tokyo in September 2020.
A signed/numbered edition of 30, the Be As One 2nd Edition vinyl art toy (11.81″) is available from Vinyl Tokyo for ¥38,500 ($334). Overseas orders are welcome.The figure includes a zine from the artist.
