‘Nite Nite’ Bronze Sculpture by TIDE x Avant Arte

Previous Next

Japanese artist TIDE (Tatsuhiro Ide) continues his exploration of duality with the elevated Nite Nite bronze sculpture created in collaboration with Avant Arte. The new piece features his recurring feline character nestled between a pair of pillows, contemplating bed time. While the character has a ‘cute’, cartoon-like design, the mood is darker —defiant and unapproachable.

Flowing out of TIDE’s monochromatic practice as a way of exploring the interplay between the universal shades, Nite Nite is available in both black and white editions. The artist’s new bronze sculpture follows his Gift vinyl art toy released by Isetan Tokyo Kaiho-ku (July 2020)

Editions of 50, the Nite Nite bronze sculpture (11.8″ x 10.2″ x 10.6″) in both black and white finishes will be available from Avant Arte on Thursday (3.3) at 6 AM PST for $4,574.
