The epic conflict between good and evil plays out in the stars with the new The Astronauts art toy series from WeArtDoing x action figure brand X B.C. featuring the Light Messenger-JC and Black Seed-Lucifer 1/6 figures.
Designed by Shaun Guo, the creator of the popular Sank universe, the figures feature detailed, retro-future gear from space suits to radar units, respirators and space guns. While both figures have very similar space suits in different colors, removing their helmets reveals JC’s stylized cross and tears tattoos and Lucifer’s horned skull complete with a pair of black headphones. The highly posable figures include two alternate ‘gun trigger’ hands.
Editions of 499, the Light Messenger-JC and Black Seed-Lucifer 1/6 art toys (12″) will be available for pre-order on Sunday (1.23) at 6:30 AM PST from select retailers including myplasticheart and Strangecat Toys. The figures are scheduled to ship in September 2022. Pricing has not yet been announced and tends to vary slightly for Sank products from retailer to retailer based on their specific costs to bring in the figures from China.
