Sank Toys’ signature diver character is back with the new Sank – Good Night resin art toy series. As the name hints, the new series features Sank the Child enjoying a snooze. The sculpt evokes childhood bedtime and the character’s tie to nature with a flower-powered design.
The Good Night editions—Cherry (Orange/Pink), Iris (Purple/Green), Snow Lotus (Blue/Pink w/Blue GID) & Violet—feature vivid, gradient style translucent designs, each with a playful color pairing inspired by a flower. While subtle at first, the sculpt overflows with floral beauty, from the blooms sprouting from Sank’s helmet and foot to the overlapping petals that make up his diving gear. The translucent design’s overlapping textures deliver a light-filled bouquet.
In a interesting twist, the Cherry edition will be limited to 299 pieces while the other three will be offered as timed-editions. Collectors who purchase three Good Night editions will receive the bonus On the Way Series Postcard Series 5-Grow Up set of six signed postcards. Collectors who purchase all four editions will receive the postcard set and a Sank Necklace.
The Sank – Good Night resin art toys (5.91″) will be available for preorder on Friday (1.21) at 6 AM PST from select retailers including myplasticheart and Strangecat Toys. The three timed editions (Iris, Snow Lotus & Violet) will be available until the following Tuesday (1.25) at 6 PM PST. Pricing has not yet been announced and tends to vary slightly from retailer to retailer for Sank products based on their specific costs to bring in the figures from China.
