Let it snow, let it snow…! The KAWS: Holiday Changbai Mountain installation (1.6 – 1.16.21) embraces winter with a giant snow sculpture of a Companion hugging a younger one. Created by KAWS in collaboration with All Rights Reserved and The North Face, the sculpture pays homage to the season at Changbaishan Luneng Resort at Changbai Mountain, Baishan City, Jilin Province, China. This epic sculpture in snow is the latest innovative Holiday installation following a giant floating sculpture in Hong Kong, a trip to space and a hot balloon ride above the UK countryside.
To celebrate the new installation All Rights Reserved will release a special capsule inspired by the Changbai Mountain sculpture featuring a brand-new vinyl art toy (8.5″, HK$2,590/$332), a snow globe (edition of 500, HK$4,300/$552), a hand warmer (HK$235/$30) and a zip-up Jacket in Grey and Black (HK$1,175/$151).
The new vinyl art toy is available in three colorways: Brown, Snowy White and Black. While the Brown is a KAWS classic, the Snowy White and Black (no yellow accents) standout for their lack of additional paint beyond the base color.
The KAWS: Holiday Changbai Mountain collectibles will be available on Friday (1.7.21) at 7 PM PST exclusively from the DDT Store.
