Luke Chueh’s new Face to Face polystone sculpture from VINS explores relationships with a twist flowing seamlessly out of his striking, sometimes arresting imagery. The piece features his signature bear character staring intently at another bear—face to face—while holding the other’s head in its hands. The piece is a commentary on accepting differences and finding common ground between people (and bears). In addition to being a definite conversation starter, the piece’s stunning visuals stand on their own.
An edition of 200 (w/20 APs), the Face to Face polystone sculpture (11″)—with wood box and signed certificate of authenticity—will be available on Friday (1.14) at 7 AM PST from VINS for $700 plus FedEx shipping ($190 – $265). Luke Chueh will also release the figure from his site towards the end of January/early February.
