Theodoru continues to flesh out his Skulltoons universe with his new Jolly Bones Roger vinyl art toy in collaboration with HeetHeet. Named after the iconic pirate flag, the new figure features a stylized take on the pirate skull + crossbones head paired with Theodoru’s Mickey-inspired design.
The Jolly Bones Roger figure offers a darker vision of the artist’s previous Kranyus figure (Martian Toys). The fierce pirate skull with recessed eye socket brings the hard edge lacking from the lighter-hearted, almost cute skull face of the OG figure.
The Jolly Bones Roger vinyl/resin/ABS art toy ($280) is available for preorder from HeetHeet for $280. The figure features a deluxe box with foam insert and numbered certificate of authenticity. The new pirate-styled figure is expected to ship in March 2022.
