Korean artist Junyuck_b has released his Ke-Zi resin art toy as part of his Koriental Kids series. Based on the Korean cloud god, Ke-Zi features an East-meets-West design blending ancient Korean clothing with sporty streetwear.
Rather than a stoic god, this version of Ke-Zi doesn’t take himself so seriously. With tongue sticking out and slightly distorted mask, this deity seems ready for fun with his black + red sporty gear and a traditional pipe tucked into his knapsack. Subtle cloud patterns on his jacket and ‘air’ kicks link symbolize his ancient power. This is a fun Korean take on urban art toys with a traditional twist.
An edition of 10, the Ke-Zi resin art toy (10″) is available from the Hands in Factory store for $700.00.
