SDCC is back… in November! This weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con Event Special Edition (11.26 – 11.28) marks a welcome return for the mother of all conventions, albeit in a streamlined offering. MINDstyle—Funko’s strategic partner in China— returns to San Diego with six Pop! Asia exclusives and a joint booth with Funko. This is a rare opportunity to pick up these 2021 Fall Convention releases outside of Asia.
The Pop! Asia exclusives on tap feature three DC Imperial Heroes releases including The Flash and grayscale editions of Superman and Wonder Woman. The Imperial Heroes line reimagines the superheroes in traditional Chinese armor.
In addition to the DC figures, MINDstyle will also release ‘ceramic’ editions of the Three Immortals Pop!s: Fu (Happiness), Lu (Good Fortune) and Shou (Longevity). Each features a blue/white finish evoking traditional ceramic sculptures.
Finally, Funko will be offering three SDCC SE exclusive Pop! figures of SDCC’s beloved Toucan Sam mascot.
