Fresh off his ‘Best Soft Vinyl‘ Designer Toy Award for Moonflower, Yoskay Yamamoto will launch the new Baby Blue edition soft vinyl art toy with Munky King at DesignerCon 2021. The third edition of the toy— following the OG (white) and Lavender (DCon 2020) editions—features a pastel blue moon nestled in overlapping flower petals. Moonflower exudes the grace of Yamamoto’s paintings which often focus on the moon and the night sky bathed in calming blue and purple hues.
“The design of Moonflower comes from my fascination with the moon and its mystic power, presence, and my love for the delicate form of flowers. The first painting of the Moonflower was created in 2018. I enjoy the calm vibes that I can achieve from the image and different color variations that I get to explore.
