Bangkok-based artist Benzilla offers a new collection of original art featuring his signature LOOOK character for his Midnight Call solo show with Trendy Gallery (Bangkok) which opens on November 27, 2021. In addition to collage-style paintings, the well-known street artist has created the limited-edition Midnight Call polystone sculpture.
Inspired by Rodin’s timeless The Thinker sculpture, Midnight Call features the three-eyed LOOOK seated atop a mirrored sphere representing the human soul. The reflective, colorful piece invites the viewer to ponder the nature of their existence. Normally seen with yellow eyes, LOOOK’s multi-colored eyes represent a range of emotions.
A signed/numbered edition of 50, the Midnight Call polystone sculpture (11.81″)—with Certificate of Authenticity—is available from Trendy Gallery for 19,000 baht ($580).
