To celebrate the 20th anniversary of his Dead Zebra brand, Andrew Bell is releasing the Last Knight – Dark Woods wood art toy sculpture. Crafted in sapele wood, the special edition of his zebra ‘knight’ chess-inspired figure features a multi-step hand staining technique to achieve its sumptuous finish.
Dark Woods retains the details of the OG vinyl art toy (2014) including the intricate skull with (non-articulated) jaw, zebra stripes and pointed ears. This all-wood release was milled by Knocks on Wood and hand-stained by Noli Noil Handmade.
An edition of 150, the Last Knight – Dark Woods wood art toy sculpture (8″) is available from Dead Zebra for $399.
