Known for his Halloween-themed work, Philadelphia-based illustrator Sam Heimer has collaborated with Unbox Industries on the The Ghost of Halloween Past soft vinyl art toy. The animated piece features a pumpkin-head character with an open robe revealing a variety of creepy monsters including a witch, Frankenstein and a demon.
The initial creepy vibe driven by the character’s pose and the deformed hand quickly morphs into a light-hearted take. Setting aside a dark interpretation, the piece celebrates the yearly ritual of conjuring up spooky monsters and ghoulish creatures in search of the best costume yet.
The The Ghost of Halloween Past soft vinyl art toy (12″) is available for pre-order from Unbox Industries for $175. The figure is scheduled to ship in Q1 2022.
