Japanese floral artist Azuma Makoto has collaborated with Mighty Jaxx on his Flower and Man (Winter Edition) polystone art toy. The owner of the Tokyo-based Jardins des Fleurs flower shop, Makoto has pushed floral artistry in bold directions and elevated it to new heights with his striking arrangements including his headdress featured on the cover of British Vogue.
Inspired by a creative Instagram photo of Makoto showcasing his floral focus, the Flower and Man (Winter Edition) bust features a confident figure with a floral globe head and modern attire surrounded by moss covered stones. The double-cast head features cast flowers within the translucent globe. Curated for the season, the design features six Winter varieties including camellia, Christmas rose, English primrose, pansies, ornamental cabbage and kale and crocus. The Flower and Man (Winter Edition) polystone art toy (8″) is available for preorder from Mighty Jaxx for $299. The figure is expected to ship in March 2022.
