Jeremy MadL’s classic MAD*L vinyl art toy returns with the new MAD*L Citizens series from UVD Toys. The new series features a revised sculpt bringing more detail to the original design which debuted back in 2004. The Citizens feature fully-sculpted faces instead of the flat faces of the OG designs as well as a revised, more ‘realistic’ body featuring curved vs straight lines and edges. The new for 2021 design ups the attitude with a ball-jointed head allowing for a range of moods, furrowed eyebrows, slightly askew posea nd exclamation point ear deco.
The debut design embraces laid-back street fashion with a black cap, green jacket, ‘Madness’ box logo tee, chinos and retro sneakers. Previously seen in a teaser image, upcoming releases explore the variety made possible with the modular design from new headwear to articulated arms.
The first MAD* L Citizens vinyl art toy (4″) will be available for pre-order on Friday (9.17) at 9 AM PDT for $50. The figure is expected to ship in October 2021.
