3DRetro has many, many collectors’ undivided attention with the announcement that they will be releasing the new Vultura Macabra vinyl art toy from Camil;e Rose Garcia at the DesignerCon Summer virtual event this weekend (8.28 – 8.29). The 14″ figure features a vulture perched on a skull rock with a dainty umbrella, perhaps to shield itself from the drippy paint covering its feathers.
Vultura Macabra continues Camille Rose Garcia’s passion for the unmistakable scavengers which began with the twin vultures seen in Snow White. The debut edition oozes a purple, pink, black tan color palette drawn from Garcia’s original paintings.
The Vultura Macabra vinyl art toy (14″) will first be available in very limited quantities on Saturday (8.28) from 3DRetro’s DesignerCon Summer stream on Popshop Live for $149.99. With a compelling large-format sculpt that seems to have flown out of one of CRG’s paintings and the unexpected bonus of an extremely reasonable price point, Vultura Macabra is certainly one of the premiere releases of 2021.
Tickets for DesignerCon Summer are available for $10. VIP passholders from DCon 2020 will receive free admission to the 2-day event.
