The new Hypebao vinyl art toy created by Kevin ‘Kai’ Cao and designed by Jerome Lu is ready for its first serving as part of DesignerCon Summer. Collector, industry veteran (DesignerCon), personality and toy producer, Kevin Cao has created Hypebao to reflect all that he’s hyped for from Sheng Jian Bao (fried pan dumplings) from his home town of Shanghai to supremely styled streetwear and sick kicks.
DCon Summer will feature a double serving of Hypebao. First up is the OG edition featuring a black hoodie with ‘Panfried’ box logo. The drop will also include the DesignerCon exclusive TS edition featuring a tan hoodie, yellow shorts and Travis Scott sneakers.
Editions of 200, the Hypebao OG & TS edition vinyl art toys (5″) will be available from the Life Of Kai livestream channel for $55 each on Saturday (8.28) at 1 PM PDT as part of the DesignerCon Summer event on Popshop Live. Tickets for DesignerCon Summer are available for $10. VIP pass holders from DCon 2020 will receive free admission to the 2-day event.
